This high alpine tour is technically not too difficult. The tour leads on a gravel road through the long Traversiera valley with its endless grassy hillsides over what is likely the highest pass that you can cross with the mountain bike in the western Alps (2830 m). After a short stretch where the bike has to be pushed, there is an incredible descent, first on single-trails and then on alpine trails back into the valley. Bring along enough water; in early summer there may still be snow on Monte Bellino.
