This is a technically and physically demanding tour through the high Alps on old, partly deteriorated, military roads and ridable single-trails. There are long sections on the ascent along which the bike has to be pushed. It is a lonely and very remote area, over the timberline with grassy hillsides as far as the eye can see. The landscape is constantly changing on this unique tour. Only to be ridden in stable weather conditions. Be sure to bring enough water.
